In great condition. At least 50 or 60 years old and has rarely ever been used.

Yes, this is truly beautiful and very dignified. I imagine this in a hallway and/or office. It would enliven an area for receiving visitors, i.e. a lawyer's entrance. However, I am amazed that the fabric has such a pristene appearance. Could it perhaps be a replacement for more recent times? I see now what dealers mean when they boast that a piece has wonderful "patena". This wood is so perfect, it looks like it was just built. Whatever the wonderful story this item has, it is perfect in appearance and would be a delightful piece to add to any home.
