Red Shabby Guest Bath, This is the guest bath from our last house. It served as the master bath as well so it needed to be functional also. I got the idea for the corner shelves from an old issue of BH&G. The shower curtain came from Sears. The red color was inspired by a catalog I got in the mail from Hallmark!, Bathrooms
My living room, I love books and just wanted a place that looked cozy. I tried to bring your eye up to the vaulted ceilings with the urns and things I collected, Living Rooms
Tween Rocker Room, This room is for my younger tween daughter. She fell in love with the Punk Rock bedding from Target. So we designed and painted the room around that theme. The walls are deep turquoise hot pink and white. I created templates for the stars and taped them off but in the end I ended up freehanding them. The stars tie into the bedding perfect!, Girls' Rooms
My bedroom....I also did the artwork!, I really wanted a contemporary feel to my bedroom but I was in a pop art kinda mood. I think the end result is both sophisticated but modern and fun., Bedrooms
Monochromatic Charcoal Bedroom, I painted the bed wall using shades of charcoal and greys. I was inspired by artist M.C. Escher. The opposite wall was done using horizontal monochromatic stripes. , Boys' Rooms
Tween Princess Room, This is for my older daughter who's definitely a princess! The theme is pink/ peach with gold accents. The harlequin diamond pattern behind her bed took 3 applications to get the gold diamonds perfect. I used a premade stencil and touched up by hand. One of her favorite pieces is the fitting room sign above her closet. It fits her room perfectly since there are usually clothes everywhere! The drapes are Target's Shabby Chic line and the gold crown canopy above bed came from J.C. Penney's., Girls' Rooms
