Decorating the Tree, I made up this little lap quilt / wall hanging because I wanted a bit of color on the arm of my sofa at Christmas time. Note that the trees in the back are less colorful than the ones in the front. That's so like my memories of Christmas! The closer they are the brighter! , Seasonal
Tapestry Quilt, One Block Wonder Pattern by Maxine Rosenthal cut out like a stack and whack with 6 layers of matching repeat. Over 1000 triangles were cut out of the border fabric and rearranged by color then sewn together in half-hexagons. then sewn into strips the strips sewn together to get the effect of a tapestry. If you look closely you can see the hexagon blocks. Quilted in rust by Kari Ruesidale in large circle shapes and stiple on the edge. , Special Occasions
Nicky's Memory Quilt, I created this quilt for a friend that was in the Army. He was waiting to be deployed to Iraq and wanted something to remind him of home. Each block has a place where he has lived and each picture is of his family. I used old denim jeans that were donated from his friends and family to create each block., Friendship
