New 1950's Baker daybed and custom window treatment, I actually got this daybed from a second-hand store and restored it to its original condition (the wood is beautiful mahogany painted in chocolate and fabric is double-stitched cotton/linen). This is in the same room as the asian-style bedroom by the window. If you like my space please vote for me here:http://www.apartmenttherapy.com/ny/fall-colors-2007-east/20-alexpolancos-surrounding-energy-034200, Bedrooms
raised garden beds, Three years ago this was a weed filled children's play area!, Gardens
Our updated (smaller) Kitchen, This was our budget attempt to update our fairly small kitchen. We do not have a seperate dining room so we used different color paints to make them look a bit more seperate. We stuck with Italian themed decor to make both rooms flow together nicely. We are learning to do each thing as we go! Make sure and look at the before pictures and let us know what you think! :) Thanks for looking., Kitchens
Our New Room, This is our rustic den eating area bar and tv room. We seldom go in the rest of the house anymore...except for the ajoining kitchen. Everyone seems to love the corrigated metal around the chair rail and above the bar. We have since replaced the table with a round Oak...the coke window is in the bathroom..also have added wooden blinds to the windows..., Living Rooms
back yard oasis, When I bought the house 3 years ago there was NOTHING but a brick patio and a children's play area., Patios & Decks
Jack's Snuggly Pooh Room, This is my son's nursery which my husband worked on tirelessly all by himself- painting wallpapering and cutting the chair rail and shelving to create the shelf all around the room. We wanted a room that could be changed later depending on what Jack likes. I can see it becoming an airplane room animal room and any number of things that need a "grass and sky" sort of motif. , Nurseries
