The decor includes african animals palm trees and cultural sculptures and pottery. Black and mahogany furniture gives a modern feel mixed with the traditional art pieces. , Living Rooms

attempt in large space, This room is 34.5'x14.2'. It is a very odd size and shape with many features all around and furnature placement and decorating is a chanllenge. This is what i came up with. The stairs adn the hall off the room are still being worked on currently. We are planning on putting a molding around the wall/ceiling and i was thinking about painting the ceiling a cream., Living Rooms
What have I done??!!, Since I had so much beige in my kitchen I wanted to add some color to my backsplash. I installed a pattern of terra cotta tiles with white marble swirls and white stone triangles. I have since added a row of 3"x6" terra cotta tiles to the top. Does anyone have any ideas what I can do to make it look better? I don't like the white triangles but don't know how much trouble it will be to get them down so I'm thinking about painting them beige., Kitchens
