Need Help on Exterior Paint, We just bought this house and don't move in until Sept. I need help on front door color. I may add window shutters too. This house is 8 miles from the Gulf with a bay nearby. It's heavily shaded with Southern live oaks. The brick is mottled with a little bit of red. I don't remember if red is a brown red or maroonish. The storm door is common here as added protection against hurricanes, so it will stay. Ignore the deer - they're outta there!, Home Exterior
Kitchen Remodel-On a Budget, I moved in with my boyfriend in February and the kitchen was my least favorite part of the house. I knew we didnt have a ton of money to spend, so we made big changes with a fairly small budget. Other than appliances, we spent a total of $550. We are doing the cabinets next weekend with a great product to paint them, and that is costing an additional $250. I am very happy with the way its coming together. Please let me know your thoughts!, Kitchens
Pretty In Pink, I wanted to give my daughters a beautiful bedroom where they could feel like little princesses. Most of my inspiration comes from Pottery Barn Kids. I have a few more things I am planning on doing to it but here is my progress thus far. I wish I would have taken before photos, but I forgot. The walls were tan and the window and all woodwork was oak. I painted the trim and wood white, the room pink, and added a lot of new artwork. I made a lot of the things in the room such as lamp, coat rack, letters. I cant wait to finish! Please let me know your thoughts., Girls' Rooms
