Laundry Room Make-Over, A few before and after pictures of what became the first floor laundry.

Note:
I am hooked on historic homes!! My current project is the Samuel W. Temple House, an upright and wing house that is Michigan State Landmark that is also listed on the National Register of Historic Homes. When I purchased and began work on the house a year ago, after having sat vacant for almost a decade, it had no viable electric, plumbing or heating services and roofs on the three separate one story wings of the house had failed. I'm in the process of renovating and restoring this glorious home.

ModFox Hudson Knox's Nursery, the style: mod baby
HIGH CONTRAST: A single white wall in stark relief to deep black walls and a turquoise-and-white striped ceiling give this nursery its edge. The noir dresser and changing table blend into the backdrop, creating a chic yet theatrical effect.
MODERN AMUSEMENT: Circus-y stripes painted on the ceiling give the room a flipped-upside-down curiosity. The graphic lines assist a simple paper bird mobile in keeping baby's eyes busy during those early mornings before mommy's ready to wake.
TIMELESS CLASSICS: A crib that is both aesthetically pleasing and functional that will last long past baby #2. Likewise, a tall, solid dresser distressed with beautiful hand painted gold detail and interesting pulls can reside in this room long after his "baby" years.
PLUSH & PLAYFUL: The fur rugs thrown about, combined with a hodgepodge of patterns in the drapes and rug encourages a coziness and introduces elemental shapes for learning.
OPEN ORGANIZATION: A 3-tired kitchen metal wire rack holds all the necessity's for a messy baby quickly-from burp cloths to diapers to bath time and stuffed animal buddies., Nurseries
