Dining Room Mixes Warm Wood With a Cool Abstract , Nathan and Dan teamed up to take on the dining room. They set aside the first day to determine a design plan and decided to paint unexpected, bold artwork on the walls and floors. It was a move that had the judges smiling. The Living Room With the Hot-Pink Geese, Three designers teamed up to tackle the massive living room. They aimed for Hollywood glamour with a modern foundation. Antonio's suggestion of hanging a hot-pink marlin on the wall was mocked by Lonni but appreciated by Amy. The designers decided on wooden geese instead, and Antonio's determination to paint them pink paid off. An excess of other accessories, however, took away from the flying showstoppers, and the judges agreed that the room's square footage could have been utilized more efficiently. , Episode 1 Design
The Bunk Bedroom That Has a Story to Tell (Bedroom #2), Jason and Jen were thrilled to design bedroom #2 – a strategic move on Jason's part. The team had a vision for the space, and by the end of the challenge, Jason was confident that the room would rank at the top.
