4th of July Door Plaque, Using copy made from antique patriotic post card, modpodged it onto prepainted canvas board. Do not modpodge over print though, just underneath it to help it stick on. Then embellished details with glitter glue or pens, added glitter three D stars, trimmed sides with velvet ribbon hot glued on the back and also a piece for the hanger. Baseball Bat Table, Hubby gets lots of broken wood bats where he gives baseball instruction. So we recycled some into table legs. Got plain table round from hardware store painted it like a baseball.Then attached bats cut to same lengths on underside with table leg brackets. He uses these in his den beside his chair. Crocheted Pot Holder Christmas Valance, Took old red and green crocheted potholders that I collect and slipped their hanger loops onto a small tension rod. Over lapping them at corners and pinning them with safety pins. Then covered up rod with garland and ribbon to match the rest of the kitchen christmas decore. A Spoon Full of Sugar Ornament, I wanted spoon ornaments for my Tea Party Tree one year. So I found a box of old silverplated flat ware at a garage sale. I drilled holes in the handles for ribbon to go through to hang by. I brushed on part of the bowl of the spoons some craft glue front and back . Then while wet sprinkled on clear glitter to look like sugar. They look good and add some sparkle to my Sugarplum Tea Party tree that I use in my dinning room. It is a sweet thing!, Holiday Project

Sweet Treat Cake Ornament, Remember those old vintage jello or ind. muffin tins grandma had. Now is the time to reuse them. I painted these will chocolate brown spray paint drizzled on white craft paint for frosting adding glitter in it while still wet. Then glued in faux berry sprigs in center hole glued onto rounds of plastic canvas trimmed with lace tied on ribbon hanger through canvas hole in back . Vintage Cookie Cutter Garland, Vintage family cookie cutters strung on cording I had along with wooden beads I had. Knotting cord at either end of bead groupings and also pinching cutter handles down on cord to prevent slipping of either. Cookie cutters can also be painted if you desire prior to stringing. Illuminated Glass Block Christmas Present, Glass Block glass drill bit strand of 50 lights wire ribbon snaps thread fabric glue pins. Drill 1/2" hole in back of glass block clean and dry the inside. Cut two bands for cross ribbon glue each with fabric glue. Make top bow with 6-7 loops on each side. Fasten one side of snap to bow and other side of snap to one ribbon cross band. (easier to take the bow off for storage!). Stuff lights into glass block. Use untwisted coat hanger to help position lights inside!, Holiday Project
