This is amazing! I've never seen this done..what a unique and beautiful way to display your village! Beautiful!

your tree is amazing!

For the village tree, we (my daughter and I pressed two layers of limbs together flat to section the tree out then laid cardboard pieces cut to the size of the scene I wanted on them twisting some of the limb pieces to hold it in place. (we laid the scenes out on a table first so we weren't guessing at the tree I used thin batting to cover the cardboard then set the heavy pieces on (for some of them, I stuck a tree limb inside one of the holes on the back of the piece. I secured the smaller pieces with a soft wax I bought at a store where I purchased several of the village pieces - I just poked a hole in the thin batting with my finger and stuck them to the cardboard. My daughter did the majority of the snow by fluffing up thick batting. This tree took some time but was well worth the effort. The pics don't do them justice. I have gotten some funny comments about the "tornado" on the tree in the Wizard of Oz" scene though. LOL

What a delight this is for both children and adults! Could you tell us more about it? (ie: Did you customize the shape of the tree to accommodate the scenes etc.
