I have purchased old windows from a second hand store. Each decorated differently with a Winter theme and placed around the house for the holidays.

I carved this country-boy santy from basswood for a coworker's wife to add to her santa collection. I used acrylics to paint him sealed him with Krylon satin spray and finished with an antique wash. The inscriptions and decorations were woodburned. Now you just know his sleigh is pulled by horses not reindeer!
