This space is a total disaster! I should have never given my husband reign of the living room. The furniture pieces are too big and as well as the TV. This is his favorite area because of the comfort, but I wish there was something I could do. The kitchen has no windows and the only natural light the does come in, comes from the french doors leading to the backyard. Its is the most seen and frequented area of the house and when people come over, I'm so ashamed! What can I do? I've tried to bargain with my husband and said we could keep it as an entertainment area, but have no idea how to do this since the kitchen and the living room are basically one. The kitchen is dark and everything about it is off kilter. Help!
