I attached 4 or 5 of them together by stapling twine to the back of them. Then screwed the top one of each grouping to the wall. Hope that helps :

Thank you : I used a bunch of old wood that was from a crate that sat outside by our burn pile for years...It was great!! I also did use some pallet wood too. There are lots of places that have pallets. The older the better. Look around you town. I am sure you will find a place. You could also use barn board or any other old boards you find. I like to use a variety. It adds more character and interest.

I love this! What a great way to totally personalize a part of your decor. I understand exactly the process you went through but I have one question; Do companies sell pallets or where does anyone acquire one? Your idea of using the "leftover" paper as your stencil. Kudos!!!

Thank you....I get lots of complements. I used the cricket to cut out the letters then used it like a stencil. I then sanded the board a little to distress it so the words were not as crisp. Hope that helps :
