craigslist finds, I found 2 nightstands and 1 dresser on craigslist for only $75. They were pretty terrible! With old ugly formica tops! Beaded Night Light Cover using 4 mm beads, This is very similar to a project I posted a few months ago only using smaller beads. This simple, inexpensive beaded nite lite cover can be made in in a variety of colors of beads and crochet cotton to dress up a nursery or a bathroom. It uses 216 4mm beads and #10 crochet cotton, and a #7 Boye steel hook.I have and instructional video on you tube which could be very helpful. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S5-tox66VEY. Before crocheting string 216 4mm beads onto #10 crochet cotton, I use the bead spinner and I also use a dental floss threader which is great if you have small children or pets around. Chain 6, join in circle. Rnd 1) Single crochet in circle, chain 1 for 1st single crochet, 18 sc in circle, join in chain one. Rnd 2-12) Chain three for first double crochet, attach bead, chain one, crochet in next single crochet, repeat around for total of 18 dc with attach bead and chain one after,,join in top of chain three. Rnd 13) Chain 3, double crochet in top of bead, crochet in dc, repeat around for a total of 36 dc, join in top of chain thread. , Knitting-Crocheting Project
