Serendipity, Serendipity. The definition of the word serendipity is: the act of finding something valuable or delightful when you're NOT looking for it. As I was rifling through a cabinet of sewing odds and ends, the tassel fell out of a bag and lay on the floor, threads splayed out. I instantly envisioned a saucy ponytail that would fit like a puzzle piece in the recessed part of the clay face I had just purchased.
