It feels like fall out today. When I went to do the landscapes eight years ago I went to art books. I learned you need a foreground a medium ground and a background. The sponged greenery is my midground with a medium texture and the background is the dark sky behind the tree with no texture. By having the sharp foreground with medium texture and smooth texture you get great depth.
