A Good Marriage, This started with a bunch of Hawaiian style blocks that I did to practice hand applique using my hand dyed fabrics. I sewed the blocks together and there it sat. I had a sample of my light-to-dark fabrics in strips that had been used as a color chart of sorts. I cut each of them up in a graduated way and sewed them back together and then machine quilted it. It's name comes from the way that two very different things can work well together- like my husband the engineer and me., Nature Project
Hawaiian Horses, This small original design quilt was a pain to machine satin stitch on the edges. Never again!, Animals Project
Cats 'N More, I took a very odd applique block (I'm not a very good appliquer) and mixed it with some blocks some other folks had given me added some stamping and machine quilting!, Animals Project
The Other Dream, I made this based on a nightmare I had that my mother was sticking safety pins in the roof of my mouth and I was letting her., Special Occasions Project
Hoopa, Queen of the Stripey Ball, I took a photo of one of my dogs blew up and altered a few sections and sent fabric through my printer. I then wonder-undered the sextions in the approximate places onto a piece of hand dyed light-to-dark fabric and quilted in a plain grid. Fast and fun!, Animals Project
Breathless, Inspired by a photo of Sandra Bernhart!, Nature Project
