Shabby Chic on a Budget, I wanted to take my 8yr old's bedroom from Hello Kitty pink to a serene Shabby Chic style. I used only what I had. The only thing I bought were 2 white full flat sheets for curtains. Everything else I had. Paint was my friend., Bedrooms
A Sensibly Chic Floor Lamp Makeover, I bought this "ugly duckling" of a floor lamp for $3 at a thrift shop. I knew it had potential so I brought it home, gave it a fresh coat of paint and created a new shade out of a beautiful aqua and brown toile fabric and fringe trim. , Bedrooms
Shabby to Chic Chandelier, I bought this chandelier at a yard sale for $5. I rewired it so it can be hung anywhere and plugged into a regular outlet. I also painted it a pretty pink and added lampshades I covered in floral fabrics. Cost for whole thing was under $20, Bedrooms
Needs Design, Boys ages 7-12, Bedrooms
Master Bedroom for under $500, Bedrooms
Master Bedroom, Bedroom with raspberry wall to wall carpeting is what I am trying to work with here, to cut some cost since the carpet is in very good condition. I now need to decide what wall color I will choose for this room. It is rather a large room, I am thinking of going on the dark side in Brown tones, Bedrooms
