My husband and I bought our first home, a foreclosure, we didn't have a lot of money-but we had a lot of ideas! Doing all the work ourselves allowed us to spend a little more on materials to get the look we wanted. We shopped clearance and closeouts and took our time putting everything together. In the end I couldn't be more in love with my little house; and taking something that no one else wanted and turning it in to something perfect for us.
