This is the hall bath in our rental home. It was boring and nasty. For less than $30 I made over this bath. The floor (vinyl strips made to look like wood $20 - Lowes. Wood for the wainscoting $6 - Lowes. Light fixture (on clearance $2.50 Home Depot. The paint I already had. Color Place - Berkshire white and Benjamin Moore - Coventry Gray.

Master bedroom redesigned for under $150. The white dresser was purchased at thrift store for $20. Chester was $3 at a yard sale. Panels $8 for 4 at a thrift store (brand new originally from West Elm. Sprayed the white mirror (originally gold. Purchased white duvet at Ikea for $19.99(already had other bedding. Made the black pendent lights for $5 each and the chandelier for $14. Used Oops paint and made the sunburst mirrors for $4.50 each!!

To save money, RMSer slogan builds her own hood unit cabinetry out of plywood and matches the paint to her existing cabinets. Since she loves the look of furniture as cabinets, she purchases unfinished table legs online to create the look of custom-designed cabinetry.
